Participated in a collaborative Unity project, which provided valuable experience in advanced navigation mapping and ray tracing techniques. This project involved coordinating with a team of developers to integrate these technologies effectively, enhancing the realism and interactivity of virtual environments. Through this experience, I deepened my understanding of Unity’s navigation system, optimization strategies for real-time rendering, and the practical application of ray tracing to achieve lifelike lighting and reflections in game design

I have designed and developed over five unique game levels, incorporating complex gameplay mechanics and interactive elements that enhance player engagement. My work includes the creation of intuitive user interface (UI) game menus, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience. I also modeled a variety of 3D objects and character assets, bringing visual depth and originality to each project. Additionally, I wrote comprehensive scripts that drive gameplay functionality, manage player interactions, and facilitate smooth scene transitions, among other dynamic elements, demonstrating a versatile skill set across multiple aspects of game development.

This Anime RPG game was developed utilizing free assets from the store, demonstrating the ability to create immersive experiences even with limited resources. The concept, level design, and overall world creation were entirely my vision. Among the various environments I crafted, Skyworld stands out as a highlight of my creative journey. In this level, I embraced full creative freedom, integrating dynamic elements such as moving platforms, interactive NPCs, collectible items, and engaging features like interactive clouds. These additions not only enriched the gameplay but also showcased my ability to enhance a game's atmosphere and interactivity through thoughtful design.

The "Medieval Cider Scene" was an incredibly fun and rewarding project where I applied a range of techniques I had gathered from previous work. This project allowed me to deepen my understanding of texture mapping and shaders, which played a crucial role in bringing the scene's rustic atmosphere to life. I also explored new ground in animation, experimenting with subtle movement to make the environment feel more dynamic. In addition to honing my skills in 3D object modeling, I had the opportunity to refine my workflow, balancing creativity with technical precision to create a rich, immersive visual experience.* Triangles: 86.5k

Pirate age Ceiler Room 2022

I wanted to capture the atmosphere of a pirate ceiler room, where the captain or the navigator would plan their next voyage, store their treasures, and relax after a long day at sea. I used Blender to create the model and with YouTube tutorials. I also used over the years acquired techniques to add more details and realism.

The room has brick walls and wooden floors. There are three flame torches on the walls that provide light and warmth. The main furniture pieces are a large barrel and a small barrel, a chair and a table, and a chest. The large barrel would be used to contains rum, the small barrel for water, and the chest would contain the crew's gold coins and jewels. The table has an open map on top, showing the x in the Caribbean islands. The chair has a cushion and a pillow for comfort. I tried to make the model as low poly as possible, without sacrificing the quality or the style.* Triangles: 56.5k

Hunting Knife 2021

I want to share with you a project I completed using blender, a free and open source 3D creation suite. I made a little pocket hunting knife with a realistic and detailed design, including a nice sharp edge that can cut through anything. I used various tools and techniques in blender to model, sculpt, texture and render the knife, and I'm very happy with the result. Here are some screenshots of the final product:* Triangles: 43.4k

About

Wily's journey with games began at an early age in his life, going to the arcades to playing games from every genre and platforms.

Later in life he joined a coding boot camp with some friends where he was interduce to programming. He started with web applications, worked doing a few freelancing gigs but soon found his passion for indie game projects. He is mainly skilled in programming (C#/JavaScript), but he also has a creative flair and likes to work on design and art aspects of game and application development.

When he is not lost spending many hours perfecting and designing games instead of actually playing them, Wily enjoys delicious foods, working out, dancing, and hiking.
